The Giving Foundation

A 501(c)(3) organization, The Giving Foundation works to ensure neighbors and families are supported into thriving; to ensure access to that thriving is equitable and earthbound; and to ensure the community is welcomed to safely explore the tensions of our time and empowered to address them.

The Giving Foundation proudly powers 3 programs: 

  1. The Giving Wall. A website where the urgent financial needs of neighbors are identified and posted through partnerships with important local nonprofits, and purchased by members of the community. Support a neighbor today. 

  2. The Giving Workplace. A consultancy that explores how best to support the small nonprofit ecosystem in the Richmond, VA region by designing engaging, efficient, and effective organizations. Learn more about the Shared Support Center we’re co-creating.

  3. Many Hands. A first-Friday monthly community forum that shines a light on important work, extraordinary people, and the way forward. Join us.
